Western Visayas Medical Center is currently a Level III, Teaching and Training Hospital with an authorized bed capacity of 425 beds serving the patients from the five (5) provinces and the City of Iloilo in Panay Island.
We envision it to be a premier multi-specialty center in Region VI. This vision was crafted in response to the demands on health care needs in Western Visayas as we are "trained to cure" and we are "committed to care".
